Job Description: Working as part of a project team, apply logistics experience, application expertise and industry best practice to deliver a Company solution that will assist customers to maximize their operation and achieve ROI.
Essential responsibilities/duties 1. Assess requirements, operational flow and design solution.
. A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
• Work with clients to define requirements within project scope, documenting "as is" and "to be" processes.
• Map functional requirements ensuring non standard functionality identified and logged, develop best-fit model and identify gaps
• Identify barriers to productivity and provide cost benefit analysis and change impact assessments
• Create solution design ‘blueprint’
• Specify requirements for development and integration specialists
2. Implement solution
.
• Assist client implementing "to be" processes
• Create system documentation for all configured elements
• Log and manage issues
• Assist clients with functional/unit testing and end-to-end/CRP testing of solution
• Assist with migration of solution to production environment
• Support go-live and roll-out of solution
• Execute training to both internal and to clients
3. Reporting
• Complete timesheets, expenses and other administrative reports in accordance with the requirements laid down by Company and/or the Client
• Provide regular progress/status reports to Company project management
Experience/Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or equivalent business experience.
.Implementation experience, including at R12, with OM/Shipping and Inventory (including Costing) is required, plus experience of one or more of Purchasing/iProcurement, WMS, Configurator, WIP/BOM or ASCP modules.
• Typically 3 plus years experience in software solutions and life cycle within the supply chain industry.
• Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse management principles and practices.
• Basic Understanding of databases including Oracle or MS SQL is advantageous.
.Knowledge of any other Oracle modules (e.g. from Projects, CRM or Financials) would also be advantageous, though not essential.
Summery: .The candidate will be encouraged to continually extend and improve their implementation, customer service and general business skills and scope in a project-driven, client-based environment.
.The majority of the role will be based at our client’s offices around the Middle East, therefore travel and some periods of working away from home will be necessary. The role requires a motivated, well-organized individual with the ability to work as part of a team, and in some cases lead teams with both Logics and client colleagues.
